Search Engine Submission :
In Past, Webmaster after hosting a site to Internet – He has to submit each and every page of his site in every search engines so that his website/webpage will be found by that search engine.
But at present Search Engine Submission is not needed because all the major search engines are capable to find your sites using Crawlers.
Search Engine Optimization :
It’s the process of improving the volume and quality of traffic to a website from search engine results for targeted keywords.
As a Marketing strategy to increase a site’s relevance,SEO efforts involve the site’s coding,presentation, and structure as well as fixing problems that could prevent search engine indexing programs from fully spidering a site.Effective SEO may require changes to the HTML source code of a site,SEO tactics may be incorporated into website development and design.
For a beginner-Webmaster or a blogger :
To obtain a good placement in the search engines, webmasters should optimize their each and every webpage or atleast their homepage with sitemap.
Optimzation includes input of good and desirable Keywords and its density, placement and hierarchy structure of webpages in a website etc.,
